STATEMENT:
“I have been creating prints and paintings of the Boston area for many years. My
etchings evoke a smile, a memory, and a sense of place for those who view them. I
am constantly inspired by the relationship between the old and the new. The paintings,
on a large scale, display more of a sense of space within the special places depicted.
There are always new images, even within the old ones. My etchings will continue to
be created as long as I can etch a plate. They are my signature. But I constantly
stretch myself by examining abstraction and by delving into other media which allows
me a broad range of artistic expression.”
